Securing a Construction Site During Downtime

The Challenge:

Our client, the contractor for a large construction site in the Midlands, faced a delay in starting work due to a shared party wall requiring access approval. During this downtime, it was crucial to secure the site against trespassers and potential threats, ensuring protection both before and during the construction phase.

• A public address tannoy system, allowing real-time warning messages to be broadcast to deter intruders.
• 24/7 remote monitoring by our Alarm Receiving Centre, providing immediate response to any unauthorized activity on site.

The Outcome:

The entire system was installed and operational within 72 hours. Just two days after activation, the surveillance system detected an intruder, triggering an immediate response from our monitoring team. The situation was swiftly managed, demonstrating the effectiveness of the security setup.
